Technology & Digital Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

This is a hybrid role that involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute custom research engagements that advance our customers’ & Coastal Outdoor’s reach as well as strengthen the market positions of technology including social media, SEO, SEM, & CRM.  The Technology & Digital Marketing Coordinator will partner with fellow creative team members to create award winning, strategically driven creative across multiple channels for customers to improve their business. You will develop OOH concepts as well as digital online assets. You will work at the direction of the Director of Strategic Planning and partner with the creative team to develop, create & roll out marketing strategies for our customers & the COA brand.

Job Responsibilities


  • Promote effective instructional use of technology
  • Coordinate and advise in the selection and purchase of instructional software, hardware, and other electronic instructional resources
  • Collaborate with COA President and staff to prepare technical illustrations, proposals, presentations and mockups for the purpose of new launches, deployments, acquisitions and conversions of OOH signage
  • Utilize available technology to create industry-unique signage, content, and events to promote the company’s vision and national awareness of the COA brand
  • Evaluate google analytics for our customers & COA
  • Improve operability, supportability and usability of our digital infrastructure while coordinating knowledge documentation
  • Have a thorough understanding of HTML, SEO, SEM, CRM and how it works
  • Responsible for digital scheduling
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Technology integrations for OOH, social & online platforms



  • Research information and materials on the history/objectives/target audience of the client & their business
  • Seamlessly work with other COA departments to create supporting materials with keen objectives & value
  • Collaborate with sales & clients on marketing objectives & messaging across all platforms & channels
  • Create, evolve, & maintain brand identity materials
  • Stay abreast of ever changing software and hardware tools and the opportunities that would advance the company
  • Create & implement a social media schedule & create mobile designs that shows Coastal Outdoor as true innovators & visionaries of the OOH industry
  • Research Digital & Out-of-Home marketing trends & present any new/valuable information to staff
  • Stay abreast of goings on within the community and in other markets so COA can stand out from other media companies



  • Develop, design and create ads that meet client marketing objectives
  • Illustrate concept by designing layout of art and copy
  • Possess the creativity to perform logo explorations as needed
  • Ability to create website design
  • Ability to execute full motion graphics
  • Ability to create and render videos
  • Provide contracted & speculative art to promote sales
  • Prepare notes & instruction to printer for vinyl
  • Use creative expertise to interpret client vision
  • Effectively & professionally present work to sales and/or client
  • Professionally educate client on the parameters that define successful OOH campaigns
  • Maintain a repository for all creative work
  • Have regular, effective & professional communication within the creative department as well as other company departments
  • Follow work flow process & procedures and aid in streamlining process when applicable to be more efficient
  • Assist department heads with needs involving process, procedures, art requests, special projects, etc.

Account Executive

Responsible for selling outdoor advertising to current and prospective clients within the market utilizing existing inventory while achieving exceptional customer service & satisfaction. The role of the Account Executive is to create demand and drive revenue by bridging the interests of the media buyer with our business needs as well as meet & exceed sales objectives. Must be a strategic thinker with exceptional prospecting skills, high energy and solution oriented. They are natural leaders with a desire to succeed in a collaborative, team environment.

  • Fully embrace B&C Service Excellence Initiative by demonstrating “customer-first” actions for all internal and external customers and accepting responsibility and accountability for demonstrating empowerment decisions and actions during daily work
  • Develop revenue opportunities through cold calling and face-to-face conversations (including but not limited to sales presentations) with existing clients and potential prospects
    • Navigate the campaign process from beginning to end; prospecting, identifying customer needs, proposing inventory, present proposal, generate contract, creative implementation, ordering material, scheduling installation, follow up with campaign success analysis while paying close attention to accounts receivable and developing long term account strategies
  • Develop new business revenue opportunities as a mandatory requirement of the position
    • Ability to understand products and effectively identify how it can provide value to a prospective customer
  • Create and propose advertising recommendations that best suit customer campaign, objectives & goals
  • Up sell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships
  • Promote a synergistic relationship with team members in all department and divisions
  • Collaborate with internal creative department and clients to assist in development of effective advertising campaigns.

1-2 years college/technical school, related work experience, Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, marketing, or communications preferred

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in media sales
